Employment advice on the menu at free lunch club
Holiday pay, the National Living Wage and dealing with employee resignations are just some of the topics on the menu for the next series of lunch club meetings hosted by West Midlands law firm FBC Manby Bowdler.
The free HR Lunch Clubs will be held at the firm’s offices in George Street, Snow Hill, Wolverhampton, on March 16, and at Routh House, Hall Court, Hall Park Way, Telford, on March 17.
The free event is designed for anyone who has to deal with employees at any level, from experienced in house human resources managers to those with no HR experience.
Other topics on the agenda will be dealing with jury service and dyslexia discrimination.
The meetings offer practical advice in an informal environment and a chance to network.
FBC Manby Bowdler’s expert Employment Team will also be on hand to answer any questions.
Head of Employment Law Tracy Worthington said: “The HR Lunch Club is a chance to enjoy a discussion over a light lunch targeting the topics that you want to cover.
“People can share valuable tips and real life experiences or raise issues, problems or good practice in the workplace, with a view to increasing their employee engagement and productivity, minimise business costs and generally manage HR and employment tasks more efficiently.
”It’s a useful way to keep up-to-date on the latest developments in the fast moving world of employment law as well as getting valuable HR advice.”
