Charity snaps up Nuneaton office space thanks to Bromwich Hardy

A leading commercial property expert says the quickfire sale of a £1.3million office complex is a clear indication that the market remains strong.

Bromwich Hardy surveyor Caine Gilchrist concluded the sale of the modern three-storey offices at St David’s Way in Nuneaton in just over two months – with the site only on the market for a matter of days before it was under offer.

The purpose-built site has been purchased by not-for-profit charity People in Action, which specialises in providing person-centred support for people with learning difficulties.

Caine, who was acting for the vendor, said the deal completed in ten weeks – with the site on the market for just two weeks.

“The speed of the deal shows that the right type of office space – particularly if it is in a good location and comes with the potential to repurpose to modern requirements – is still very much in demand.

“In fact, we are seeing this across the region, with a healthy interest in well-designed and positioned accommodation very much driving the market because businesses are keen to make sure they have the sort of office accommodation which will bring staff back from remote working.

“The offices are in a prominent location on Bermuda Park, cover nearly 15,000 sq ft and include aglazed reception/atrium and a dedicated meeting/executive office on the second floor. Theybenefit from air conditioning throughout, raised floors, recessed lighting and suspended ceilings, and come with 74 car parking spaces.”
