Planning and agricultural law under the spotlight at seminar
Planning and agricultural issues that will affect the future of property will be the focus of a free seminar for professionals working in the sector in Mid Wales and Shropshire this month.
Law firm FBC Manby Bowdler will host the Planning for the Future event on March 21 at Welshpool Livestock Market from 3pm to 5.30pm.
The session will look at specific regional subjects including the housing land supply position and intensive agricultural units in Powys as well as assessing the effect of the adoption of Powys County Council’s Local Development Plan on various issues.
Other items on the agenda are agricultural and affordable occupancy ties, enforcement, and option and promotion agreements.
The seminar is open to property and planning professionals, developers and landowners.
Partner Sarah Baugh, who heads up the firm’s Agricultural & Rural Services team, said: “This seminar will take a wide range of topics that could influence the planning and property sectors in Mid Wales and the borders in the future.
“Our aim is to provide a snapshot of the key issues and allow property professionals the chance to access expert legal advice in a relaxed atmosphere.”
Registration will take place from 3pm to 3.30pm followed by 90 minutes of presentations by agricultural and planning lawyers. The event will end with refreshments and a networking opportunity at 5.30pm.
